BerryLoc X-treme fitting instructions
1. To start, ensure that no damage has been done to the flooring during transportation. After cleaning the floor surface you can roll out the plastic sheet. Underlayer must have proven its operating requirement. The plastic sheet should overlap by at least 20 cm. |
2. Lay the first board against the left wall, with the tongue-side towards the wall. Make sure you leave a space of 8 to 10 mm, to allow for expansion. If the wall is uneven, the boards should be sawn and adapted to the contour of the wall. |
4. At the end of the row, place the last board face down, with the short side (tongue side) facing the wall.Mark the floorboard where it has to be cut, making sure to leave a space of 8 to 10 mm to allow for expansion. |
5. To cut the boards, place them face down against the work surface and cut to the desired shape using a jigsaw. If using a traditional hand saw, place the board face up and use a fine-toothed blade. |
6. Start the second row by using the leftover part of the board you have sawn. It should be at least 30 cm long. If not, use a new board, cutting it into two. Make sure that the end joints are always least 30 cm apart. |
7. Second plank, second row: lace the panel gently and tight to the short end of the previous panel. Fold the panel down in a single action movement with a slight press to the left to the short end of the previous panel. During the fold down, make sure the panels are tight against each other. |
8. Press or knock slightly along the short end of the installed panel. Continue in this way with the whole row. Be sure that the strip is driven well into the groove, and press the boards strongly towards the floor so as to fit them together. |
9. Before laying the final row, measure and saw the board accordingly. Leave an 8 to 10 mm gap between the board and the wall to allow for any expansion. |
10. Door frames: saw the doorframe, resting the flat edge of the saw against a board so that the board can fit underneath. |
11. Measure the diameter of the pipe and allow for an extra 10 mm leeway. After cutting the board as illustrated in the diagram below, lay the board and the part sawn off. |
12. Joining at short ends length cut panels. Cut the tongue at the same time you cut the length of the panel and install as shown above. Please note that the smallest width of a panel is ca 50 mm at the last raw – if not - the short end of the last raw must be glued. |
Disassembling of the planks with BerryLoc X-Treme installation system: 13. Separate the whole row by carefully lifting up and slightly knocking just above the joint. Fold up and release the whole long side. |

Disassembling of the planks with BerryLoc X-Treme installation system 14. Disassemble the panels by sliding horizontally. (Do not fold up!) |
